meet the makers

behind makerspace

Meet Alison, she/her

Alison is the owner/head maker at Alison Osborn Ceramics. She’s found tremendous peace and connection in both pottery and building a small business during the early years of parenthood— her very favorite part is brining joy to everyday life with functional art.

When she isn’t making things and supporting/connecting with the local maker community, she enjoys a good oat latte, sharing the joys of clay with preschoolers, and exploring with her daughter, Bennie.

Meet Mackenzie, she/her

Mackenzie, owner of design + letterpress studio Cotton Flower Press, has found her home at the helm of her restored tabletop Letterpress since 2010. Keeping the tactile art of printing alive, and getting to share it with others via workshops gives her unspeakable joy.

When not printing, she’s a mom to three small humans and enjoys gardening, neighborhood walks, and building spectacular snack boards.
